Just got in again from Jessica's this weekend and am pretty tired. 95% sure I'm getting my own place and am going to talk to the apartment people tomorrow to get a lock on it. Should know for sure what's going on around then. It'l be quite a bit of set up/work but very nice at the same time. I'll have to get a new desk, table, couch, and some other random stuff which I am very much looking forward to.Things I need to do this week....Run 4/7 daysRun 3 consecutive miles at some pointGet car checked out/oil changed etcSign up for classesViolin lesson500 sngs3 videosContinue eating healthy.Fun little thing that you can get an app for you iphone. Me and Jessica used this twice this weekend and ended up eating at a Vietnamese restaurant as well as a Columbian one. Pretty interesting food at the latter and will have pics posted if they ever decide to load up to facebookhttp://www.urbanspoon.com/spin-widgetI was able to play the drums this weekend before heading off to Houston. I got a call thursday evening from my friend asking me if I could play the drums for the orchestra camp concert that was going on at the school this weekend. This was the camp that originally exposed me to SFA and I haven't played drums in a while. So yeah, despite the fact that I hadn't woken up at anything close to 8am in a long time, I thought why not. I ended up playing Pirates of the Caribbean, Wipe out, Thriller, and Batman. It was by no means hard, just made me wish that musicians got payed more in general. I know at the end of the day it isn't about money, not for me anyway. But the contrast is just to insanely huge to music 100% after I graduate. That would mean me like, using my degree or something. No one does that these days...Congrats to one my students Mattgeer who took 5th in the 30k Grtd on stars for 2.2k. He's been working like crazy at his game and it's nice to see it pay off. Also congrats to Jcar who took down the 5^3 for 6k. If you haven't seen "Yes Man", do it.-Reasons| < Prev | Next > |
